Error in RAW Special 3 Hours edition: Power To The People

Widiiiiih, maap yak lama gue ga posting blog. Maklum yak, lagi sibuk ngurusin buat masuk kuliah hehehehe. Postingan kali ini, gue akan ngereview tentang eror dalam RAW kemaren

Kayak yg kita tau, RAW kemaren ngasih WWE Universe biar bisa milih match2 yg akan ditampilin. Dan hasilnya adalah:

1. Kelly Kelly (53% vote) vs Brie Bella for Divas Championship (pilihan lainnya adalah Eve & Beth Phoenix)
2. Evan Bourne vs Mason Ryan (51% vote) (pilihan lainnya Jack Swagger & Sin Cara)
3. Mark Henry vs Kane in a Arm Wrestling match (52% vote) (pilihan lainnya adalah Body Slam match & Over The Top Rope match)
4. Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler for US Championship in 2 Out of 3 Falls match (51% vote) (pilihan lainnya adalah Vickie Banned From Ringside & Submission)
5. Rey Mysterio vs Alberto Del Rio vs CM Punk for the #1 Contender for WWE Championship at Money In The Bank PPV in a Falls Count Anywhere match (66% vote)
6. Cody Rhodes vs Daniel Bryan in a No Count-Out match (pilihan lainnya adalah Paper Bag match & Collegiate Rules match)
7. R-Truth, Christian & The Miz vs John Cena, Randy Orton & Alex Riley in a Elimination match (79% vote) (pilihan lainnya adalah One Fall to a Finish & 20 Minute Time Limit)

Tapi setelah RAW berakhir, WWE ngepost tentang beberapa eror yg terjadi selama RAW berlangsung. Statement2nya adalah:

Monday’s “Power to the People” edition of Raw gave the WWE Universe the ability to choose what they wanted to see on their television screens. Unfortunately, technical difficulties created by an influx of heavy voting traffic resulted in not every one of the more-than 697,000 recorded votes to be properly counted.

As a part of this interactive event, WWE fans were given the option to text A, B or C to 46993 (GOWWE) in order to decide what they wanted to happen during Raw. Things went perfectly at first when text votes selected Kelly Kelly (option B) to take on Brie Bella for the Divas Championship. However, our vote tabulating provider’s system became overwhelmed, resulting in these votes to spill into later polls. This technical mishap soon led to Mason Ryan (also option B) being voted into a match against Evan Bourne — even though, as it was later discovered, Sin Cara had received 90 percent of the total votes in WWE.com's Live Chat poll, and should have been Bourne's opponent."

"Votes for the third poll’s bout — Kane vs. Mark Henry in an Arm Wrestling Contest — were counted correctly. However, problems began to occur again during the next poll determining a match stipulation between United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. At this point, so many text votes were received that the system overloaded, crashed and had to be restarted.

With little information to work from, WWE management selected to follow the system’s earliest projections, which determined that the 2-out-of-3 Falls Match had been the people’s choice. It was not until later that it was discovered that “Vickie Guerrero Banned from Ringside” was actually the top vote getter."

"Regrettably, technical difficulties occurred once more leading up to the night’s Six-Man Tag Team Match main event, when it became apparent to WWE management that text votes were again not being tabulated properly. At this time, a decision was made to turn to WWE.com’s Live Chat Poll for the official judgment. With the power still in the hands of the people, the WWE Universe selected the Elimination Match (option C) by an overwhelming 87 percent, leading to this stipulation being enacted."

Gara-gara hal ini, Sin Cara vs Evan Bourne udah diumumkan buat RAW Roullete minggu depan. Sebenernya, baru kali ini WWE ada eror kyk gini. Entah karena emang sistemnya overload ato ada alesan lain. 

Bukan maksudnya ngeremehin, tp WWE udah sering ngadain konsep kyk gini. Seharusnya mereka udh bisa punya back up plan kalo2 ada kejadian kyk gini. Untungnya aja msh ada WWE Live Chat. Tapi buat WWE, kalo mereka bener2 profesional, seharusnya kalian bisa pake sistem yg mungkin memudahkan untuk menyaring votong2 yg masuk.
